Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Bidhigh, the operator of Bidhigh.me, collects and why. For privacy questions or requests, email contact@bidhigh.me or use our Contact page.

What we collect

• Payer email: the email you enter when claiming a rank, used for receipts and contacting you about your listing. Bidders do not create accounts; only staff accounts exist.
• Listing data: business name, website, description, industry, country and logo (public once approved).
• Your email is never shown publicly.
• Payment records: provider order and payment IDs, amounts, currency, method type (for example “upi” or “card”), status and timestamps. We do not receive or store card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs or bank credentials.
• Security data: a salted hash of your IP address for rate limiting; audit logs of important actions.
• Support requests you send through the contact form.

Why we use it

• To publish and moderate listings, process payments and send receipts.
• To prevent fraud, abuse and spam, and to keep the service secure.
• To meet accounting, tax and legal obligations.

Who we share it with

• Our database, sign-in and file-storage provider.
• Razorpay (payment processing), which handles payment credentials under its own privacy policy.
• Our website hosting provider.
• Authorities where required by law.

We do not sell personal data. Public listing content is visible to everyone.

Retention

Contact data is kept while your listing is active. Financial records (payments, refunds, the bid ledger and audit logs) are kept for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law, even after a listing is removed, in minimised form.

Your choices and rights

To change or remove your listing, or to exercise access, correction or deletion rights under applicable law, email contact@bidhigh.me from the email you paid with, or use the contact form (topic: Privacy).

Cookies

Visitors and bidders receive no cookies from us. Staff sign-in uses essential session cookies. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies in the current build.
